The location of this hotel is fantastic, in the central part of Kalmar, very close to the station, great food options around, primarily Asian. We took a train from Gothenburg, reaching the hotel was a cakewalk (only 7mins by walk), we got an early check-in even in peak summer- that's a brownie! Breakfast was superb with a huge spread. Rooms were not that big but enough for a couple. Cleanliness was on point inside the room.

Extremely helpful staff, we had an issue with a passport left behind at a rental car office in another city and Jeanette did her best to help. The hotel has many amenities including a fridge, kettle in room, large shower with a door, USB/C connections beside each bed site table, comfortable bed and the location was most central. Free community car parking nearby. Extensive breakfast variety. Coffee unfortunately out of an earn but ok.( machines these days make excellent coffee) Would definitely stay again.

The position was GREAT, in the city center, 5 minutes from the station. The breakfast was huge! And me as a vegan I have appreciate vegans options like: vegan butter, cheese and ham. THANKS.

We were in Kalmar for the IronMan competition and the hotel was ideally placed for all aspects of the race. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was more than adequate. The room was clean and the small additions, such as the chocolate on the beds, were welcome and generous. We could easily compare this facility with the Best Western Plus Copenhagen Airport that we stayed in on either side of our stay in Kalmar, and this facility in Kalmarwas better by far in every category.

The location of the hotel was perfect, close to everything within 5-10 minute walk and yet away from too much hustle and bustle. The rooms were clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast was exceptional, a very good selection.

It's in the cenral of Kalmar and close to everything. Second stay here and it was as good as the first time. Great breakfast and clean rooms.

All the staff we encountered - front desk, breakfast room personnel and even our room maid were so friendly and giving great customer service. Room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was the most luxurious we have encountered in 30 years of travelling as a couple - fantastic selection! Thank you!

Excellent location, very friendly helpful & efficient staff. As a solo female traveller I felt safe & well provided for at all times. Nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was amazing and the bar area pleasant, to spend an evening in. Would highly recommend.

Well-located, comfortable chain hotel in the centre of Kalmar, a few minutes' walk from the station. Our room was simple but comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and there is free coffee and fika available in reception. Reasonable value for money with breakfast included.
